Valid license from the Ordre des Infirmiers et Infirmières du Québec (OIIQ) or the Ordre des Infirmiers Auxiliaires du Québec (OIAQ) Course Description : This training is dedicated to the use of Sculptra, a dermal filler based on poly-L-lactic acid, which helps restore lost facial volume and stimulate collagen production for a long-lasting rejuvenating effect. The aim of this training is to teach healthcare professionals precise and safe Sculptra injection techniques, while mastering treatment protocols. Course Objectives : Understand the mechanism of action of Sculptra : Learn how Sculptra stimulates the natural production of collagen in the skin, resulting in gradual and natural outcomes. Master Sculptra injection techniques : Acquire the necessary skills to safely and effectively inject Sculptra in specific areas of the face, such as the cheeks, temples, and jawline, while respecting facial anatomy. Assess and plan a personalized treatment : Learn how to design a treatment plan tailored to each patient based on their aesthetic needs and individual anatomy. Risk and complication management : Identify and prevent potential complications related to Sculptra injections, such as infection, asymmetry, or nodules. Protocols for managing complications will also be covered.
